Places to find young families at risk by CPS -WalMart, McDonalds, etc -Churches -Laundromats -Movie theaters showing special kid movies -County Fairs -Carnivals -Food Stamp offices -HUD offices -CPS offices (very carefully) -Hallways of Family Court! -PTA meetings -school bus stops -playgrounds -ballet recitals -sports games We (wife and I) leave brochures/pamplets/copies of Constitution of the United States in laundry mats (for when folks loose everything and no longer have a washer and dryer). Low income apartments (for when folks loose everything and still need a place to live). Second hand stores (for when folks loose everything and still need to wear clothing). Soup-kitchens (for when folks loose everything and still need to eat occasionally) Essentially anywhere people are, but targeting specific places. By the way, young couples who have not yet been sucked into this living horror often frequent the above mentioned places.- Harry Ooh, and you could pin them on the board with the adoption brochures and foster parenting fliers. Hey, they inform the foster parents of their rights at the courthouse, why can't we extend the same courtesy to bio. parents? -Jen Public libraries are also a good place to drop information off. The information is already out there, it just needs to be gathered into a coherent informational packet to be distributed.- Harry
