This really happened to us.
Our daddy died at home 13 days after his Cancer diagnosis.

When they filed against me (the mommy) in court last June, they stated in the
"history" section that on February 13th 2001, the social worker was
peering in the house windows and the house "didn't appear very clean".
I would have to re-read that section to get an exact quote. But I'm pretty sure
that was how she stated it. I still haven't been able to get a copy of the
case file, since they said it takes a year to obtain a copy due to backlog.
That was the exact date of my husbands death. I can guarantee you that I
was not cleaning house on that day, I was holding his hand while he died.
He died at home with the whole family there including his step daughter, her
husband, his son from an earlier marriage, my older daughter, and the triplets,
and myself, plus catering staff. NObody was doing anything except focusing
their attention on him.
This is a very inhuman, disgraceful thing to think that a social worker was
peeping at us while this happened and only noticed that "the house was not
too clean".
A real person would have brought a condolence card and a covered dish, or
something.
I cannot tell you how disgusted his son was when he read this in the filings.
They don't even come close to being classifiable as part of the human race.
You can post this story, I think you should it is disgusting.
Where is an ounce of human kindness, or a shred of humanity or something, how
could they even write this in their filings?
The kids are trying to tell their story.
