Subject: Comments on "Good Morning, America" about Anna Mae
Wonderful analysis of the GMA interview. But I beg to differ with the assertion that GMA's program was a
case of selective reporting. There is but one truth, and the truth is crystal clear for anyone who is
willing to pay attention. It's no surprise that GMA showed the true image of the case -- because there is
no other way to show it. The experts testified in the court that Anna Mae has endured psychological damages,
and Ms. Baker admit Anna Mae had bad dreams in which her mother left her. So how could Anna Mae smile along
with the Bakers? As an intelligent child, she is old enough to know those are NOT her parents. She is not
happy, she is suffering the loss of love of her parents.
As for the lawyers, the GMA was also just projecting a factual image of the situation. The Bakers had no
case, they could only do character attacks, and they are even bold or desperate enough to bring up racist
stuff to base their arguments upon. But now, their favorite judge is gone and is facing serious
allegations himself.
The Bakers' case collapsed when Jack He sought recusal of the former judge DJA. The end of the parental
rights battle is just the beginning of other major campaigns in which the He family will seek and restore
justice.
Looking back from future, the Parrish team and DJA will realize that their monumental failure was that
they vastly underestimated these poor Chinese and the universal, cross-cultural, race and religion-blind
belief in justice and human rights.
We are in the 21st century now.

PS: I'm glad that some Chinese media finally decided to show up to report the case for their fellow
countrymen. I have to say that the US media is far more superior, they can catch the newsworthy events,
while others can only follow the lead.
