American Family Rights Association OPPOSES the insertion of the coercive power of government into the FAMILY

Promoting the Fundamental Liberty, Rights, and Privileges of Families.
The family is the basic unit of social structure.  Families define and shape the individuals that are a part of the family unit.  Parents teach their children their values, and teach them a moral value of what is right and what is wrong. Parents set boundaries as to what is acceptable behavior and what will not be tolerated.  These are basic and fundamental rights given to parents.  They are recognized by the highest court in America to be the responsibility of the parents, not the job of the government. - Dawn Michelle Irons, BSW

STOP STEALING THE KIDS!

When Children Witness Domestic Violence
SUMMARY OF EXPERT TESTIMONY
ON THE IMPACT ON CHILDREN
OF WITNESSING DOMESTIC VIOLENCE.

In a class action suit in NY, federal judge states that it is illegal and unconstitutional to remove children from non-offending parent when that parent is beaten by spouse.

Also, it is NOT maltreatment or emotional neglect if child witnesses domestic violence- so says the decision.

When Government Became Children's Advocate
by Kriste Lindenmeyer, Ph.D.
September 28, 1999

In her 1905 publication, Some Ethical Gains through Legislation, Florence Kelley asserted that there was "a right to childhood . . . [that] must be guarded in order to guard" the Republic. She held that childhood was a period from birth through age nineteen that had special needs fulfilled only by enlightened parents and government protection. Kelley believed that a federal agency employing "both male and female social work and health care professionals [could best] correlate, make available, and interpret the facts concerning the physical, mental and moral condition and prospects of children of the United States, native and immigrant."

Kelley and like-minded activists, such as New York's Lillian D. Wald and members of the soon to be organized National Child Labor Committee (NCLC), argued that a federal bureau investigating and advocating children's interests would provide the same service for the nation's youngest citizens that already existing government agencies did for other constituent groups. Wald asked, "if the Government can have a department to look after the Nation's farm crops, why can't it have a bureau to look after the Nation's child crop?"

It is interesting to note that many of the people who were involved in creating this mess were communists.

Some quotes from George Orwell's "1984 (written in1949) -

"It was almost normal for people over thirty to be frightened of their own children. And with good reason for hardly a week passed in which the 'Times' did not carry a paragraph describing how some eavesdropping little sneak--"child hero" was the phrase generally used--had overheard some compromising remark and denounced his parents to the Thought Police."

"The family could not actually be abolished, and, indeed, people were encouraged to be fond of their children in almost the old-fashioned way. The children, on the other hand, were systematically turned against their parents and taught to spy on them and report their deviations. The family had become in effect an extension of the Thought Police. It was a device by means of which everyone could be surround night and day be informers who knew him intimately."

The Dynamic of Shame in Interactions Between Child Protective Services and Families Falsely Accused of Child Abuse

Here's one to ask your Social Wrecker about-
From The Administration for Children and Families
NON-ADVERSARIAL CASE RESOLUTION

INTRODUCTION

Professionals who work with children and parents have become increasingly dissatisfied with the customary reliance on the traditional adversarial system in resolving family-related disputes, including cases involving children's protection, placement, and permanent care. The power struggle in contested child welfare-related cases and hearings may foster hostility among the parties and dissipate money, energy and attention that could otherwise be used to solve problems cooperatively. Parties may become polarized, open communication may be discouraged, and there may be little investment in information sharing and joint problem solving. Children may suffer when adversarial tensions escalate and ameliorative services are delayed.

Of course this assumes the CPS case wrecker hasn't lied through her teeth from start to finish and it is a REAL CASE, not a bogus false allegation that is being rammed through.

Having Your Psycho Eval Done

"A devastating aspect of false accusations is that those who do not know you well, or who have some political or other gain to garner from the accusations, may show their colors. This orgy of  feeding on the tribulations of the accused, found fortunately only in a small number but sadly, often in persons of power, can have devastating psychological effects on the victim. When victimization is due to actions of individuals who could have stood up for truth and against cascading falsifications, and when the victimization occurs at the hands of persons previously trusted and of presumably high professional standing, the situation is fraught with fear and grave concern for one's personhood and one's family."

NATIONAL ADVISORY ON ORGANIZED CRIME
OPERATING IN THE CHILD PROTECTION SYSTEM

The recent horror story of a fifteen-month delay in Florida officials discovering that foster child Rilya Wilson had apparently been kidnapped by persons knowledgeable of the inner workings of the child protection system was due to the systematic falsification of child protection system records. This falsification of child protection system records is part of a national pattern of organized crime. It is not an isolated incident.

Adoption Bonuses: The Money Behind the Madness
DSS and affiliates rewarded for breaking up families
By Nev Moore
Massachusetts News

Child "protection" is one of the biggest businesses in the country. We spend $12 billion a year on it.

The money goes to tens of thousands of a) state employees, b) collateral professionals, such as lawyers, court personnel, court investigators, evaluators and guardians, judges, and c) DSS contracted vendors such as counselors, therapists, more "evaluators", junk psychologists, residential facilities, foster parents, adoptive parents, MSPCC, Big Brothers/Big Sisters, YMCA, etc. This newspaper is not big enough to list all of the people in this state who have a job, draw a paycheck, or make their profits off the kids in DSS custody.

In this article I explain the financial infrastructure that provides the motivation for DSS to take people’s children – and not give them back.

Some examples of children who would bring federal money with them would be those who are eligible to receive Medicaid and special needs children who receive Social Security money.

What’s ‘Best For The Child’ Is Secondary To ‘More Federal Money’

Expensive financial consultants are advising DSS how to “maximize federal revenues.”

This means that whether a particular child is seized from its parents is often a factor of whether the DSS can get more federal money by so doing. It is reported that the Department is making an extra $90 million a year by this method.

CHILD PROTECTION REFORM

The members of the National Coalition for Child Protection Reform have encountered the child welfare system in their professional capacities. Through NCCPR, we work to make that system better serve America's most vulnerable children by trying to change policies concerning child abuse, foster care and family preservation.

NCCPR advocates for systemic reform. We regret that we cannot provide advice in dealing with individual cases.
