Absolutely heartwrenching to hear of Pamela Gaston's passing.
What saddens me, and I am ashamed to say this is that I did not know of Pamela
Gaston
and of her tireless advocacy until this email from you. As you know, it
was just about a month ago, that a fellow child advocate warrior, grandparent,
friend and confidant by the name of Dora Meccia passed away on 11/21/04, and I
produced a one hour tribute in her honor. When I read Pamela's husband's
heartfelt words - "I ask God for help and He gave me Pamela (The name
means honey girl ) and now he has taken her away and I cannot imagine life
without her. I love you Pamela...Your husband Will" - just
brought tears to my heart and eyes as I remember the same words from Mr. Walten
Meccia when his Dora passed on. A child advocate's death must NEVER go in

Please extend my deepest respect and sympathy to the Gaston family. The
Gaston family will be in my prayers, and I wish them health, strength, and
courage to continue onward with their mission in honor of their Pamela for
families worldwide. I will place their website link on upcoming
anniearmenlive.org, and Pamela's spirit, voice, and mission will live on through
her family, friends, and loved ones.
